SaaS Development Company
We design, build and launch subscription software products: accounts, billing, dashboards and everything around them.
Build a SaaS product that's ready for paying customers
A SaaS product is more than its main feature. Before anyone pays, you need sign-up and login, team accounts, plans and billing, email notifications, an admin area, analytics and a reliable way to ship updates. These parts rarely get attention in the pitch deck, but they decide whether customers stay.
Maetheon Ltd builds SaaS platforms for founders and established businesses in the UK, the US, Canada and Australia. We plan the product with you, build it in two-week sprints and stay involved after launch to support growth. You contract with a UK-registered company, and our remote delivery team works to your schedule.
We run a portfolio of 17 subscription tools ourselves, each with a free tier, paid monthly and yearly plans, and search-driven sign-ups. Everything we learned building our own SaaS products goes into the platforms we build for clients.
Everything a SaaS product needs
Accounts & teams
Sign-up, login, password reset, social sign-in, team invitations and role-based permissions.
Plans & billing
Free trials, freemium limits, monthly and yearly plans, invoices and failed-payment handling through Stripe or PayPal.
Core product features
The workflows your customers pay for, designed around their jobs rather than a feature checklist.
Admin & support tools
An internal dashboard for managing customers, plans, refunds and usage.
Usage tracking & analytics
Events, dashboards and reports so you can see activation, retention and revenue.
Infrastructure & security
Cloud hosting, backups, monitoring, access controls and data protection by design.
When a custom SaaS build makes sense
A good fit if you…
- Have a validated idea and need a production-ready first version
- Want to turn an internal tool into a product you can sell
- Need subscriptions, usage limits or tiered plans
- Have outgrown a no-code prototype
- Want one partner for design, build, launch and marketing
Decisions that shape a SaaS product
Pricing model
Freemium, free trial, per-seat or usage-based pricing each need different logic in the product. We agree the model early, so limits, upgrades and billing events are designed in rather than bolted on. Our own tools use a freemium model: three free searches, then a monthly or yearly plan.
Multi-tenancy and data separation
Every customer's data must stay private. We choose an approach (shared database with strict tenant scoping, or separate databases for larger clients) based on your security needs, compliance requirements and expected growth.
Onboarding and activation
Most SaaS churn happens in the first sessions. We design sign-up, empty states and first-run guidance so new users reach the moment of value quickly, and we track it so you can improve it.
Our process
Product discovery
We define your customer, the core problem, pricing model and first-release scope.
UX & architecture
User flows, clickable prototypes and a technical plan for multi-tenancy, billing and hosting.
Build in sprints
Two-week sprints, each ending with a working demo on a staging environment.
Launch
Production deployment, payment testing, analytics and search setup.
Grow
Ongoing features, performance work and marketing support on a monthly retainer.
