Working across time zones
The UK is usually five hours ahead of US Eastern Time and eight hours ahead of Pacific Time. (For a few weeks each spring and autumn the gap changes by an hour, because the two countries change their clocks on different dates.)
In practice, a 9am Eastern call is 2pm in the UK, and a 9am Pacific call is 5pm in the UK. We schedule regular meetings in these overlapping hours and use written updates in between, so work continues while you're offline and you wake up to progress.
Contracts are with Maetheon Ltd, a UK company, and invoices can be paid by card or PayPal, or by USD bank transfer through Wise.
