Overview

Launch the smallest product that proves your idea

A minimum viable product is the simplest version of your idea that real customers can use and pay for. Its job is to test your riskiest assumptions quickly and cheaply, and to give investors and early adopters something tangible.

The hardest part is deciding what to leave out. Maetheon Ltd works with founders in the UK, the US, Canada and Australia to cut the scope down to the features that prove the idea, then builds them properly, so the MVP can grow into a full product instead of being thrown away.

We're a UK-registered company with a remote delivery team, and we build and run our own SaaS products. We know what it takes to go from first line of code to first paying user.

We turn your idea into user stories and pick the smallest set of features that tests it.

Clickable prototype

A prototype you can put in front of users and investors before development starts.

Production-quality build

Clean, tested code on a stack that can scale, not a throwaway demo.

Accounts & payments

Sign-up, login and, where needed, payments or subscriptions from day one.

Analytics

Tracking to show how users behave, so your next decisions are based on data.

Launch support

Deployment, app store submission if needed, and a plan for the next version.

How we keep an MVP focused

Start with the riskiest assumption

Every idea rests on a few assumptions: people have this problem, they'll pay to solve it, they'll use your solution. The first version should test the riskiest of these directly. Everything else can wait for version two.

Must-have, should-have, later

In the scope workshop, we sort features into three groups. Only must-haves make the first release. This keeps the budget and timeline under control and gets real feedback sooner.

Build it to last

A focused scope doesn't mean cutting corners on quality. We use a production-ready stack, automated tests for critical flows and clean architecture, so the MVP becomes the foundation of your product rather than a prototype you have to replace.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does an MVP cost?
Focused MVPs start from £3,500. The final price depends on platforms, features, integrations and design. You receive a fixed written quote after the scope workshop.
Should my MVP be a web app or a mobile app?
Most MVPs launch faster as a web app, which works on every device. Choose mobile first if your idea depends on phone features such as the camera, location or push notifications.
Can the MVP grow into a full product?
Yes. We build MVPs on a production-ready stack with clean code, so you can keep adding features instead of starting again.
Do I need a technical co-founder?
Not to start. We can act as your technical partner through launch and early growth, and help you hire later if you want an in-house team.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA before you share your idea in detail.
